Ben Hatcher

Ben Hatcher is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in hardware integration and quality assurance. Currently part of the Vision Products Group at Apple since October 2022, Ben previously held senior roles at Mira, including Senior Hardware Integration Engineer and Hardware Test Engineer from December 2020 to May 2024. Prior experience includes positions as a Hardware QA Engineer at Oblong Industries Inc., a Motion Capture AV Engineer at DreamWorks Animation, and an Assistant Program Manager/Mechanical Engineer at MOTIVO Engineering. Ben started a career in engineering as a Test Engineer at Xprts LLC and completed internships and research assistantships in the early years. Ben holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo and participated in an engineering exchange program at the University of Applied Sciences in Munich.
