Beruk Sims is currently a freshman at Duke University, pursuing studies from 2024 to 2028, following a high school graduation from UPrep Seattle in 2024. Experience includes a Facilities Worker role at University Prep from June to August 2024, with tasks involving landscaping, painting, and facility repairs. Beruk completed a bioinformatics research independent project at Seattle Children's in early 2024, gaining hands-on experience in gel wells and learning about cryomicroscopy and protein structural analysis. Currently serving as an Incoming 2026 Finance Development Intern at Apple since May 2025 and participating in the 2025 Goldman Sachs Possibilities Summit, a year-long virtual program focused on finance. Additionally, Beruk worked as a server at Cafe Soleil from 2019 until August 2025.
