Bhavin B. is currently the Depth Hardware Module Lead at Apple, specializing in photonics engineering with a robust background in semiconductor diode lasers, Silicon Photonics, and nonlinear optical devices. Bhavin's past experience includes positions as a Senior Development Engineer at Kotura, Inc., and as a Staff Engineer at Mellanox Technologies, where they played a pivotal role in developing and integrating Silicon Photonic technologies. Bhavin earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Photonics from the University of Toronto and has contributed to various research projects, demonstrating a strong interdisciplinary approach to photonics, nanotechnology, and engineering challenges.
