BJ Watrous

BJ Watrous serves as Vice President of Corporate, Commercial & Compliance Legal, and Global Security at Apple, where responsibilities include acting as Chief Corporate & Commercial Counsel and leading Global Security since June 2011. Prior roles at Apple include Vice President of Commercial & International Legal and Chief IP Counsel. Before joining Apple, BJ Watrous held various positions at Hewlett-Packard, culminating in the role of VP & DGC, Chief IP Counsel, where leadership in patent, copyright, trademark practices, and IP licensing was key. Additional experience includes IP litigation counsel at DLA Piper. Educational credentials include a JD from the University of California, Los Angeles - School of Law, and a BA in Political Science from Pomona College.
