Bobby O'Brien

Bobby O'Brien is currently an International Lead for Apple Information Security, serving as the Chief Information Security Officer for China. Previously, Bobby was a Senior Cybersecurity Strategist at Microsoft, where their work emphasized international cybersecurity governance and disinformation defense. Bobby has also held positions at the Brookings Institution, contributed to Oxford Analytica, and authored numerous articles on Chinese economic and regulatory developments. They earned a B.A. in International Relations and Chinese Language and Literature from George Washington University, an M.Sc. in Global Governance and Diplomacy from the University of Oxford, and are currently ABD in the Ph.D. program there.
