Braden Desman is a GPU RTL Design Engineer at Apple and an undergraduate researcher in the Robust Low Power VLSI group at the University of Virginia, focusing on system architecture and low power circuits for active smart textiles. Previously, Braden interned at UVA Engineering Link Lab, where they designed and validated various semiconductor components and conducted research on thermoelectric materials. At Apple, they created an automated power debugging system and enhanced energy prediction metrics during their internships. Braden is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering and is expected to graduate in 2025.
