Brian Whitaker

Brian Whitaker is a Director of Connectivity Hardware at Apple. With a background in RF engineering, Brian transitioned from an individual contributor in hardware design to a technical management role where they emphasize detailed execution and cross-functional collaboration. Brian has extensive experience with WLAN and WiMAX consumer radio design, having worked at companies like Quantance, Ozmo Devices, and Maxim Integrated Products. They hold a BS from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo and remain committed to developing in-house wireless technologies while fostering vendor relationships. Outside of work, Brian enjoys camping, hiking, and biking with their family.
