Cai Li is currently a Display Metrology System Engineer at Apple and a 5th year PhD student at the University of California, Davis, focusing on the development of optical imaging systems. Previously, Cai contributed as a Product Development Engineer at KLA from 2021 to 2024, where they developed next-generation light sources and optical metrology tools for CD measurement. Cai also served as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of California, Davis, from 2016 to 2021, working on multimodal optical imaging system development. Cai earned a Bachelor's degree in Materials Science from Nanjing University in 2015 and a PhD in Optical Imaging Systems from UC Davis in 2020.
