Chandrakanth Choppa

High Speed Analog/Mixed Signal IC Design

Chandrakanth Choppa is a Ph.D. student at UCLA, advised by Prof. Behzad Razavi in the Communication Circuits Laboratory, with a focus on fractional-N frequency synthesizers. They previously held roles in IC design at companies such as Apple, Qualcomm, and Tensorcom Inc., specializing in RFIC, RTL hardware design, and high-speed analog/mixed-signal IC design. Chandrakanth earned a Master of Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, where they were the department topper, and has actively participated in engineering teams, including being a design engineer for an award-winning student racing team.
