Chas Mannemala

Chas Mannemala is a seasoned Engineering Manager currently leading the Siri Speech team at Apple, where they focus on innovative voice-based technologies. Prior to this role, Chas served as a Senior iOS WiFi Engineer at Apple and as an Engineering Manager at Qualcomm, where they led firmware development and productized significant features. Chas began their career as a Project Associate at IIT Madras, where they developed a Speech Enhancement tool. They hold a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Electronics from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University.
