Chen Dong

Chen Dong is currently a Hardware Development Engineer at Apple, where they apply their extensive background in electronic devices, including Organic Light Emitting Diodes and Lead Sulfide Quantum Dots. With a PhD from North Carolina State University, a Master's in Engineering from the University of Florida, and a Bachelor's in Materials Science from Zhejiang University, Chen has a strong foundation in materials science and electronic device physics. Their previous experience includes a role as an OLED scientist at eMagin Corporation, where they developed advanced OLED structures for AR/VR applications. Chen is passionate about innovating new materials and device designs, utilizing skills in material synthesis, device fabrication, and thin film optics simulation.
