Chen Huang

Chen (Kimi) Huang is a Senior Deep Learning Research Engineer at Apple, focusing on video computer vision, specifically in areas like Object Capture and 3D object detection. Previously, Kimi worked as a Deep Learning Research Engineer at Apple, contributing to projects such as FaceID and model inference acceleration, and interned at Microsoft, where they applied deep learning techniques for pedestrian detection and visual tracking. Kimi is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Missouri-Columbia, having obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Beihang University. Their research interests include fine-grained image categorization and large-scale image retrieval, supported by extensive coding skills in C/C++ and Matlab.
