Cheng Leong

Cheng Leong is an experienced technology leader currently serving as a Director at Apple since April 2012, specializing in cloud computing and AI systems infrastructure, with expertise in training and inference, sensor and geo data processing, and capacity planning. Prior to this role, Cheng worked at Apple in the payments engineering division and held various positions at Salesforce from May 2008 to April 2012, focusing on distributed systems and compute virtualization. Additional experience includes a teaching assistant role for algorithms at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, an internship as a technology analyst at UBS, and research programming at the National Center for Supercomputing Applications.
