Chinmay Dashpute

Chinmay Dashpute is an experienced Embedded Software Engineer currently working at Apple since November 2025. Prior to this role, Chinmay served as an Electrical Design Engineer at Zoox from June 2023 to October 2025 and gained valuable research experience as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from August 2021 to July 2023, focusing on developing algorithms for motion planning in Quadrupedal Systems. Additional experience includes internships and engineering positions at organizations such as Zoox, Armstrong Automation, Bosch India, and academic roles at the Indian Institute of Technology, Gandhinagar, where mentorship in manufacturing practices was provided. Chinmay holds a Master of Science in Systems Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar.
