Chris Prest

Chris Prest has a diverse work experience in the field of product design engineering. Chris started their career as a Mechanical Engineer Intern at Watson-Marlow, Inc. in June 2002. After completing their internship in September 2002, Chris joined Apple as a Product Design Engineer Intern in June 2003. Chris had a successful internship and was hired as a full-time Product Design Engineer in August 2005. Chris worked in this role for five years before being promoted to Manager of Product Design Engineering in 2010. Chris held this position until 2015 and then moved up to the role of Director of Product Design Engineering. Chris excelled in this role for five years before taking on their current position as Senior Director of Materials Engineering & Product Design at Apple in March 2020.

Chris Prest received their Bachelor's, Master's, and Master of Engineering degrees in Engineering from the University of Cambridge. Chris attended the university from 2001 to 2005.
