Daehan Yoo

Daehan Yoo is a display TFT backplane process, device, and architecture design engineer at Apple. They possess 15 years of experience in advanced micro and nanofabrication, specializing in nanophotonics and semiconductor materials and device physics. Prior to their role at Apple starting in 2023, Daehan worked at Intel Corporation as a Staff Process Integration Engineer, where they contributed to 3D NAND architecture and received a QPB+ award for outstanding performance. They also held postdoctoral and research positions at the University of Minnesota, focusing on atomic layer lithography and plasmonics, and were previously a research engineer at Samsung Electronics. Daehan earned a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Minnesota and holds both a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Materials Science Engineering from Korea University.
