ASIC Design Engineer - Memory Controller

Daniel Sun has a strong background in electrical engineering and computer sciences, holding a Master's degree from the University of California, Berkeley. Experience includes working as a Researcher in Jan Rabaey's group at Berkeley's BWRC, where Daniel designed an HDC and SVM bio-sensor fusion classification processor on ASIC technology to perform emotion recognition. Additionally, Daniel served as a CS61BL Summer Academic Intern, teaching algorithms and data structures to students. Roles at Kiwibot and KLA involved deploying robots and developing a test fixture for fiber optic links, respectively. Currently, Daniel is an ASIC Design Engineer at Apple, focusing on optimizing image recognition algorithms.
