Daniel Zurek

Daniel Zurek is currently a Data Science Manager at Apple, building on a robust background as a Data Scientist and ML Engineering Manager. Previously, Daniel held postdoctoral positions at the University of Pittsburgh and Cornell University, where they led research teams and secured significant federal funding for projects on vision systems and color vision. Daniel earned a PhD in Brain, Behaviour, and Evolution from Macquarie University, recognized with a Vice Chancellor's Commendation for Academic Excellence. They have also contributed to various initiatives in data science, including developing machine vision solutions and creating educational tools for parents.
