David Bevan

David Bevan is a seasoned writer and editor with extensive experience in music journalism and editorial leadership. At Apple, from June 2014 to October 2019, David served as Senior Writer & Editor for Apple Music, overseeing customer-facing copy for millions and enhancing editorial processes. As Editorial Features Lead, David led a team focused on global content strategy, bridging the gaps between various creative teams. Prior to Apple, David freelanced for prominent publications such as The Washington Post, Rolling Stone, and Pitchfork, and held editorial roles at SPIN and The FADER, contributing significantly to music criticism and features. David holds a Bachelor of Arts with Honors from New York University and studied German History at Freie Universität Berlin.
