David Bier

David Bier has a diverse legal background, currently serving as Legal Counsel at Apple since September 2024. Prior experience includes roles as an Associate in Complex Commercial Litigation and IP/Media at Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP, where responsibilities encompassed consumer class actions, data privacy, and regulatory counseling. Earlier, David completed a summer associate position at the same firm. Additionally, a judicial internship was undertaken at the U.S. District Courts, working with Judge Amy Berman Jackson. Before pursuing law, David dedicated several years to education as an 8th grade mathematics teacher with Teach For America. David holds a JD from Boston University School of Law, where magna cum laude honors were achieved, as well as a Master of Education from Arizona State University and a BA from George Mason University, both with magna cum laude distinctions.
