David Dobbs is a highly experienced engineering professional with a diverse background in mechanical design and product development. Beginning a career at Cambrex Bioscience as a Co-Op Engineer in 2005, David progressed to various roles, including Sr. Engineer in Military Suspensions at Lord Corporation from December 2007 to August 2011, where innovative designs for off-road military vehicle damper assemblies were developed. David continued at Lord Corporation as a Staff Engineer in Rotary Wing Engineering from August 2011 to September 2018, focusing on critical components for rotary wing platforms. From September 2018 to April 2023, David served as a Mechanical Engineering Specialist at Meta, leading haptic hardware projects for virtual reality. A stint as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Amazon from July 2023 to June 2024 involved work on mechanical ground support equipment for satellite systems.
