David Levitan

David Levitan is a Staff Applied ML Scientist at Apple, where they began working in 2025. Previously, they held various roles at Microsoft from 2013 to 2018, culminating in a position as Principal Applied Scientist Manager, leading efforts in customer feedback analysis through AI and ML development. David completed their Ph.D. in Physics at the California Institute of Technology from 2007 to 2013, where they processed extensive time-series data and contributed to astrophysical research. They also earned a Bachelor of Arts in Physics from Cornell University, where they served as a Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant.
