De Meng

De Meng possesses extensive experience in artificial intelligence and machine learning, currently working at Apple since 2023 in roles involving GenAI, LLM, Apple Intelligence, NLP, and Knowledge Graph. Prior experience includes a position in machine learning at Twitter from 2021 to 2023 and serving as Head of AIML at Kernel Labs from 2017 to 2021. Earlier roles included research internships at Microsoft, IBM, and Mitsubishi Electric Research Laboratories focused on various technologies such as Azure Machine Learning algorithms and speech recognition. De Meng holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Electrical and Computer Engineering and a Master's degree in Applied Mathematics from the University of Washington, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Zhejiang University.
