Dean Houari

Dean Houari is a field CISO and cybersecurity leader currently serving as a Senior Engineering Manager and Senior Engineering Program Manager for AI/ML and AI cybersecurity at Apple since 2025. Previously, they held various prominent roles, including Director of Security Technology and Strategy at Akamai Technologies, and Head of DevSecOps at Check Point Software Technologies. They also served in leadership positions at Cisco and F5 Networks focused on data center virtualization and cloud architecture. Dean began their career as a System Administrator at Banca di Roma and advanced to become an IT Manager at BNY Mellon. Additionally, they have a passion for powerlifting.
