Deepika Bablani

Deepika Bablani is a Senior Machine Learning Researcher at Apple since July 2025, with a background in research and engineering in the field of machine learning and hardware. Previous roles include Research Scientist at IBM Research from March 2018 to July 2025, where Deepika specialized in post-training methods to enhance inference efficiency in large language models, and Research Intern at IBM Almaden Research Center in 2017. Additionally, experience includes a Research Fellow position at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, an internship at the National Brain Research Centre, and a Hardware Engineer role at SanDisk® from June 2014 to August 2015. Deepika holds a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, a Master's Degree in Economics from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, and a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.
