Deidre Karlek

Deidre (McGinnis) Karlek is an accomplished Research and Development Program Manager at Apple, with a tenure starting in November 2015, where responsibilities include overseeing lab operations, team management, inspection services, and vendor management, as well as contributing to data science projects through prototype metrics development. Prior to Apple, Deidre served as Operations Manager at Ellison Technologies from December 2009 to October 2015 and as Financial Manager in the United States Marine Corps from June 2005 to June 2009. Deidre holds a Master's Degree in Global Affairs from the University of Denver, a Graduate Certificate in Project Management from Boston University's Questrom School of Business, a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Portland State University, and an Associates in General Studies from the University of Phoenix, along with specialized training in financial management from the U.S. Marine Corps Training Academy.
