Derrick Hsiou

Derrick Hsiou is currently a Strategic Sourcing Manager focused on recycled content at Apple’s Environment and Supply Chain Innovation team, based in Shanghai, China. In this role, Derrick works to accelerate the transition of hardware products to recycled materials, supporting Apple's 2030 Carbon Neutrality goals. Prior to this, Derrick held various positions at Apple, including Business Operations Manager and Materials Program Manager, and was involved in contract negotiations and cross-functional analysis on market strategies. Derrick's earlier experience includes leading operations at Oh My Green and serving as Program Manager at StartX, where they contributed to the growth of Stanford’s entrepreneurial community. Derrick co-founded the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Association at NYU, where they played a pivotal role in fostering a vibrant entrepreneurship culture among students.
