Di Xu

Di Xu is a seasoned professional in machine learning and artificial intelligence, currently serving as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Apple since April 2018. Prior to this role, Di held the position of Principal Engineer in AI/Machine Learning at Futurewei Technologies, Inc. for a brief period in early 2018, focusing on the development and deployment of AI solutions in manufacturing. Di's earlier experience includes a substantial tenure at Intel Corporation as a Staff Engineer specializing in machine vision and optical metrology from 2011 to 2018, as well as a position as a Staff Scientist at SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory, Stanford University, in early 2011. Di Xu holds a Ph.D. in Electrical & Computer Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh and a Master's degree in Physics from Wuhan University.
