Diek van Nort

Diek Van Nort is an accomplished legal and engineering professional with extensive experience in intellectual property and trade secret litigation. Currently serving as Head of Trade Secret Litigation at Apple since January 2023, Van Nort previously held various roles at Morrison & Foerster LLP from January 2014 to January 2023, including Partner, Of Counsel, and Associate. Between June 2012 and January 2014, Van Nort was the Director of IP Asset Development at Ovidian Group, LLC. Earlier in the career, Van Nort worked as an Associate and Law Clerk at Morrison & Foerster LLP and served as a Senior Device and Process Engineer at Jazz Semiconductor. Initial professional experience includes roles as a Process and Device Engineer at Dynamics Research Corporation. Diek Van Nort holds a JD from Santa Clara University School of Law and both a Master of Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Vanderbilt University.
