Dillon Thomasson serves as Vice President of Electric Propulsion System and Vice President of Electric Engine at Archer since January 2024. Previously, Dillon held the position of R&D Manager for Actuation Systems at Apple within the Special Projects Group, focusing on technology scoping and hardware development for next-generation products. Prior experience includes serving as Lead Design Engineer at General Dynamics, where Dillon was the technical lead for development of next-generation DoD application products, and as Project Engineer overseeing the development of electro-mechanical linear actuators for missile defense applications. Dillon also contributed as a Project Engineer at ACD Cryogenics, managing cryogenic turboexpander systems. Dillon earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
