Dipayan D.

Dipayan D. is the Chief Executive Officer at Apple since July 2016, leading the company with significant influence in the tech industry. Previously, Dipayan served as a CMOS Sensor Designer and SVP at STFC, Rutherford Appleton Laboratory from January 2013 to April 2016, where responsibilities included the design, testing, and characterization of CMOS Image sensors. Earlier experience includes a role as a Research Assistant at the University of Oxford, focusing on CMOS Image sensors and related technologies from June 2011 to July 2012, and engineering work at 2H Offshore on remote data-logging modules for deep-sea platforms. Dipayan holds a D.Phil in Microelectronics Engineering from the University of Oxford and a BEng in Electronic Engineering from the University of Southampton.
