Emily Chung

Emily Chung serves as a System Architect in the Vision Products Group at Apple since May 2023. Prior experience includes a tenure at Microsoft from January 2020 to April 2023, where Chung held the position of Director of Wireless Architecture in Mixed Reality, leading a team of hardware and software architects and driving the mixed reality wireless roadmap. Chung also worked as a Principal Silicon Architect focusing on the architecture for Azure hardware systems and infrastructure, contributing to key projects such as a storage accelerator and AR-glass SoC specifications. Previously, a significant role at Intel Corporation spanned from August 2007 to January 2020, where Chung was the Platform Architect for storage technologies, leading the architecture of high-performance SSDs and overseeing key subsystem executions. Earlier, experience includes positions at Microchip Technology Inc. as an ASIC Design & Verification Engineer. Emily Chung holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Engineering from The University of British Columbia.
