Eric Newton

Eric Newton is a Hardware Development Engineer at Apple, where they have worked since 2015. Previously, Eric gained experience as a Graduate Intern at Draper Laboratory, focusing on MEMS technology, and contributed to significant improvements in experimental design. They also researched at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and Columbia University, where Eric explored fracture mechanics and nanoscale materials. Eric completed a PhD in Mechanical Engineering at MIT, where they conducted extensive research on MEMS devices, further building on their strong engineering background established at both MIT and the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
