Frank Hanshar

Frank Hanshar is a Software Engineer currently serving as a Software Engineering Manager at Apple since 2024. After joining DarwinAI in 2021, Frank contributed to the development of a scalable visual quality inspection system with a focus on custom hardware, software, and machine learning. Previously, Frank worked at Siemens Healthineers, initially as a Software Developer and later as a Software Architect, where efforts included designing machine learning predictive models for radiology workflows. Frank's career began at Medicalis, where they developed next-generation software for radiology scheduling. Frank holds a Ph.D. in Computing and Information Science from the University of Guelph, where research centered on probabilistic graphical models for multiagent decision-making.
