Gal Winer

Gal Winer Ph.D. is a highly skilled physicist and engineer with extensive experience in the fields of quantum computing and system engineering. Currently serving as a Camera System Engineer at Apple since May 2024, Winer previously worked as a Quantum Software Engineer at Classiq Technologies and as a System Engineer at Quantum Machines, where leadership of a libraries team was also a key role. Winer's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Physics from the Weizmann Institute of Science, with earlier degrees obtained from Tel Aviv University. Winer has contributed to various research and development projects, including work on experimental quantum science and science communication efforts at the Davidson Institute of Science Education. Prior roles also include positions in industry at Applied Materials, HP Software, and a formative experience as an Artillery Radar Operator in the Israel Defense Forces.
