Gaurav Mehta

Gaurav Mehta is a GPU uArchitect and Design Manager at Apple, where they continue to leverage their extensive background in ASIC design. Previously, Gaurav worked as a CPU Design Engineer at Qualcomm from 2004 to 2016, focusing on mobile and server-class CPU architectures. Their early career included positions as a Network and Field Support Engineer at Blazenet and a Research Assistant at North Carolina State University, where they designed control systems for complex reactor systems. Gaurav also gained experience as a Research Intern at the Indian Space Research Organisation, contributing to the development of an adaptive array antenna for a satellite mission. Gaurav holds a B.E. in Electronics from Dharmsinh Desai Institute of Technology and an M.S. in Computer Engineering from North Carolina State University.
