Georg Grab

Georg Grab is a Senior Software Engineer at Apple, focusing on building distributed machine learning and operational research inference systems for data-driven decision making. Previously, they served as a Software Engineer at Optellum, where they contributed to the development of a computer vision-based lung cancer detection platform, leading to FDA clearance of the world's first ML-assisted lung cancer prediction system. Georg also completed research internships at both the Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems and the German Cancer Research Center, exploring topics related to human-AI collaboration and medical imaging. They hold a Master of Science in Scientific Computing from Heidelberg University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from DHBW Stuttgart.
