Gihoon Choo

Gihoon Choo is a Senior Hardware Engineer at Apple, where they have worked since 2018, starting as a Display Design Engineer before advancing to their current role. They previously served as a Graduate Research Assistant in the Texas A&M Analog & Mixed Signal Group from 2013 to 2018. Gihoon Choo holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Silicon Integrated Photonics and Silicon RF Photonics, as well as a Master’s Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, both from Texas A&M University. They also earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Seoul National University.
