Gregory Baratoff

Gregory Baratoff is a seasoned professional in the fields of computer vision and spatial computing, currently serving as Sensing Architecture Lead for Spatial Computing at Apple since August 2022. Prior to this role, Gregory held significant positions at Hyundai MOBIS from July 2017 to June 2022, including Vice President of the Autonomous Vehicles Lab and the Driver Assistant Systems Engineering Group. Gregory's extensive experience in camera sensor development was demonstrated as Head of Camera Sensors Development at Continental Corporation from September 2005 to June 2017. Earlier in Gregory's career, positions included Manager of Image Processing Algorithms at Siemens VDO and Research Scientist at Daimler Chrysler. Education includes a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Maryland and a Diplome in Computer Science from EPFL.
