Hao Xu

Hao Xu is a Senior Software Engineer specializing in machine learning infrastructure at Apple since April 2025. As a Co-Founder of Aita since March 2023, Hao has led the creation of AI-driven analysis tools aimed at enhancing efficiency and cost-effectiveness while employing open-source solutions in a cloud-native setting. Previously, Hao held the position of Lead Software Engineer at JPMorganChase, focusing on architecting data and machine learning infrastructure, and developing end-to-end services for the Merchant checkout system. Experience also includes a role as Senior Software Engineer at Affirm, where key contributions were made to the Machine Learning Feature System and infrastructure development, as well as positions at Fast, Earnest, and ShareThis, which involved managing data infrastructure, deploying machine learning models, and developing data platforms. Hao Xu holds a Master’s Degree from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor’s degree from Shandong University.
