Herman Damveld

Herman Damveld is a Senior Research Lead in the Technology Development Group at Apple, where they focus on developing perceptual comfort criteria for future consumer products. With a robust background in the consumer electronics industry, Herman possesses expertise in AR/VR, motion perception, and human-machine interaction. Previously, they served as a Senior Research Scientist at NASA Langley Research Center and led a control system design team at Apple. Herman holds a PhD in Aerospace Engineering from Delft University of Technology and has extensive research experience in control and simulation.
