Hongping Yan

Hongping Yan is an experienced Engineering Program Manager at Apple Inc., specializing in technology transfer and advanced technology development. With over a decade of expertise in materials, polymer physics, and light-matter interaction, they have significantly contributed to the fields of flexible electronics, including OLEDs, OFETs, and OPVs. Hongping previously served as the Assistant Director of the Initiative on Flexible Electronics Translational Research at Stanford University, where they managed cross-functional projects and mentored Ph.D. researchers. They earned a Ph.D. in Physics from North Carolina State University and have held various research positions, including postdoctoral fellowships at Argonne National Laboratory.
