Ian Shain

Ian Shain is a product design and development professional currently leading mechanical engineering for Apple Watch displays. Previously, Ian co-founded Kanga Kare, where they developed an incubating garment to address premature infant mortality, and served as a mechanical engineering intern at Proteus Digital Health, contributing to wearable biosensor product design. Ian has held positions with Halo Neuroscience as a senior product design engineer and managed end-to-end development of medical devices and consumer electronics. Ian conducted research at UC Berkeley, focusing on ergonomics and human factors, and is pursuing a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution.
