Jack Rector is a seasoned professional in mechanical engineering and product design, currently serving as a Manager in Input Product Design at Apple since 2012. Prior to this role, Jack held positions as a Sr. Product Design Engineer at Apple, where they led the development of notable products including the Magic Trackpad 2 and Magic Mouse 2. Jack also gained significant experience at Trimble Navigation as a Mechanical Engineer, contributing to the development of cutting-edge precision instruments, and at Cisco, where they focused on advanced mechanical solutions for network chassis. Jack began their academic journey in Mechanical Engineering at California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo and continues to pursue this path.
