Jacob Anderson

Jacob Anderson is currently the Principal Legal Counsel and Manager of IP Transactions at Apple, building upon eight years of experience as an Intellectual Property and Technology Associate in DLA Piper's San Diego office. Jacob has significant trial experience in U.S. District Courts and the International Trade Commission, managing complex litigation involving mobile communication devices, semiconductors, and medical devices. Jacob's past roles included key responsibilities in case strategy and negotiation, and they received the State Bar of California's Wiley W. Manuel Award for Pro Bono Legal Services in 2010. Jacob earned a BA in Political Science and Law & Society from UC Santa Barbara, graduating with high honors, followed by a JD from the University of San Diego, where they graduated magna cum laude.
