Jae Young Park

Jae Young Park is a Video Processing Architect at Apple, specializing in compressive sensing, sparse approximation, image and video processing, multiview imaging, and machine learning. Previously, Jae worked as a Research Scientist at Schlumberger, focusing on signal processing methods for seismic applications, and served as a Graduate Student Research Assistant at the University of Michigan, where they engaged in extensive signal and image processing research. Jae also participated in an Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program at Imperial College London, implementing algorithms in Verilog. Jae holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Michigan, alongside a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Engineering from the same institution and Imperial College London, respectively.
