Jaehyun Bae

Jaehyun Bae is an accomplished motion health scientist with a background in mechanical engineering and extensive research experience. At Harvard University, from September 2013 to July 2019, Jaehyun served as a Ph.D. candidate in the Biodesign lab under the guidance of Professor Conor Walsh, focusing on the development of control algorithms for soft exosuits aimed at post-stroke gait assistance and rehabilitation. Concurrently, Jaehyun worked as a research assistant at the Wyss Institute for Biologically Inspired Engineering. Since September 2019, Jaehyun has held the position of Senior Motion Health Scientist at Apple. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University, a Doctor of Philosophy in Engineering Science from Harvard University, and a Bachelor of Science, summa cum laude, in Mechanical Engineering from Seoul National University.
