James Verner has extensive experience in operations and procurement management, currently serving as Director of Service Parts Planning & Procurement at Apple since January 2007, following a previous role as Senior Director of Service Planning and Procurement. Prior to this, James held the position of Director of Materials at Proxim Wireless / Western Multiplex from June 2001 to January 2005 and served as Director of Operations Engineering at Webvan from September 1999 to June 2001. James began career as a Consultant at Coopers & Lybrand Consulting in the early 1990s and worked as Materials Manager at Tyco Electronics for a year. Academically, James earned an MSc from Imperial College, an MBA from Harvard Business School, and a BSc from Queen's University.
