Jan Sefranek

Jan Sefranek is a skilled professional with a background in machine learning and software engineering. Having worked as a Quality Assurance Engineer at AuthenTec in 2012, Jan later joined Apple where they held various roles, including Machine Learning Engineering Manager, Machine Learning Engineer, and Algorithm Evaluation Engineer in 2021. Jan's current focus is on developing methodologies to explain machine learning models and ensuring the quality of biometric algorithms across Apple products. Jan graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering and Management, followed by a Master's degree in Economics and Management of Electrical Engineering, both from the Czech Technical University in Prague.
