Jared Chafetz

Jared Chafetz is an Engineering Program Manager at Apple, bringing a diverse engineering background that encompasses both mechanical and electrical disciplines. Previously, they served as the Lead Hardware Engineer at WhiteFox Defense Technologies, where they led a multi-disciplinary team and contributed to advanced counter-UAS products. Jared's earlier roles include Product Engineer at Glenair, focusing on developing custom PCBs and mechanical designs, and internships at Sandia National Laboratories and the Human Performance and Robotics Laboratory. They hold a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo and a Bachelor's Degree from California State University, Long Beach. Jared's research interests include soft robotics and medical technology, with published works in these areas.
